SOFT SKILLS TRAINING

During this 3-week session, individuals identify barriers to employment, while receiving instruction on soft skills, such as attitude and interactions with supervisors and co-workers. Individuals have the opportunity to demonstrate the skills they are learning in a work setting.

SKILL BUILDING

People with various challenges in the workplace develop skills to enable them to function in a work environment.

(A contractual service through the Lenawee Community Mental Health Authority)

JOB READINESS

Concentration is placed on developing skills and behaviors in preparation for further training and community employment. Individuals are assigned to workstations at Goodwill Industries,
with adjustable levels of supervision. They meet weekly with Goodwill staff to review progress/set goals.

All of the people we serve are actively involved in the planning of their services.
