Do you pick up donations?
We do not, with some exceptions. If you have any questions regarding a pick up, please contact our headquarters location at 517.263.2135.
Are my donations tax deductible?
Absolutely! You will receive a receipt when you leave your donation that you can complete and use for tax purposes.
How do I donate?
You can drop off donations at any one of our donation sites listed on the Locations Page.
Where do my donations go?
Every donation that is received is sorted and is placed into gaylords where they are further sorted, cleaned, priced and divided up between the stores. Items that are donated to a specific store are generally put out for sale in the same location.
What do my donations do?
Each donation you make generates revenue, which is then used for a number of programs to assist individuals in our communities overcome a variety of barriers.
What can I donate?
Goodwill accepts gently-used items that can be resold or salvaged. Please refer to our donation guidelines under the Donate Page. If you are still unsure what items Goodwill will accept, please contact your local Goodwill donation center. If we cannot accept your items, we'll help you locate an organization that will!
Does your CEO make $2.3?
No! Our President/CEO makes far less than. Please refer to the Financials section where our 990 can be found.
Are your services accredited?
Yes! We are CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) Certified.
Do you pay people less than minimum wage?
No!
